THE SUPERNATURAL SAUVIGNON BLANC - 2009

TASTING NOTES:
Golden yellow color with highly aromatic honeysuckle, pineapple and passion fruit. Citrus, minerality and crisp upfront with notes of petrol, sweet lychee and honey on the finish.
SCORE & RECOMMENDATION:

Pretty sensational Sauvignon Blanc. Can't think of any SB I've had with the exception of the Merry Edwards that is so vibrant and dynamic. Has a Sauternes-esque aspect to the wine and sets itself apart from the traditional New Zealand SB. Beer bottle crown cap closure in a clear bottle makes for a sleek, casual look, but there's serious juice inside.
