PINE RIDGE DIJON CLONES CHARDONNAY - 2000

Pine Ridge Chardonnay is from Napa Valley, Carneros. Known its consistent quality and lots of critical acclaim, the winery was founded in 1978.

TASTING NOTES:

Golden color with caramel, honey and oak on the nose and palate. Good acidity and rich with butter, butterscotch and toffee notes.

SCORE & RECOMMENDATION:

89 PTS
Perhaps a bit past its prime and on the decline, this white which made the Wine Spectator Top 100, is still solid. Retailed for around $25 a bottle. If you have this one in your cellar, it is time to open it. It won't get any better than its drinking now.
